Dr. Shawna Eischens (“Dr. E”) is a naturopathic primary care physician with specialties in GI and mental health.  Her passion to help others heal and thrive in life began with early interests in nutrition, fitness, and the desire to know how the body functions during her work in hospital rehabilitation units, nursing homes, with with people with disabilities.
Dr. E’s medical training was completed at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine where she focused on nutrition and chronic disease prevention with pediatric and adult populations.  She sees the most significant results when treatments are combined and individually tailored for each patient, often addressing emotional health for the most profound impact.
She feels fortunate to be able to pursue her passion of empowering others to heal their own body through various safe and effective naturopathic therapies. One of her strongest assets is the ability to listen without judgment and offer patients a safe place to express themselves. This combination can be a priceless part of the healing process to help patients reach their full potential to enjoy the best version of themselves.
She enjoys finding balance in nature hiking, biking, camping, or traveling, as well as volunteering with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Naturopathic Medicine Institute when she’s away from work.
